Rote Unpleasantries

I'm tired of a society of unthinking collectivist punks telling me to contribute or else.

I don't want to "pitch in" to an entity that has no legitimacy.

I don't want to "pay my share" into the hands of liars, thieves, morons, destroyers, and others whose job involves telling others how to do theirs.

I hate seeing wealth, productivity, and individual progress wrecked as a matter of routine policy.

I, like millions of other Americans, have sent in my income tax paperwork. It makes me ill to think I've been participating in national theft day for so long.

This, according to the People Whose Opinions Matter, is a "change election." I think it's time I started changing my life.

Hey drizz, I can't believe wot I'm reading here but get ready for this one (or two things) a gotta say here...

I have an apology to give to you as ex animeboards member Professor Booty.

I know we had some mega battles but man one thing that I learnt outta all of that for me eventually was I had so much to learn about living what I stood for. Nice to see that you've matured a bit - but hey I always had you around the top of my AB respect list of about 7 members on my stickies sheet on my iMac even after I left AB.

Anyway I briefly 'matured' for a bit by landing a job in my state's department of justice and had even applied for the air force here in Australia before I 'defected' to the swish corporate office life but now I basically live out my days on a disability pension that I mostly don't even bother to touch - let's just say that depression got the better of me a long time ago in galaxy far far away...um ok well gotta scoot just wanted to apologise to you and the AB crew since I still think about all the cool peeps there I had left behind and what a dick I had been to them. Hope this helps pave some peace back in the land of the free.

Cheers.

Mr. Verduci, while we certainly had our disagreements, I don't recall you ever crossing the line and becoming a dick about anything. Maybe you should ask PKO about it, he seems to revel in that aspect.

I've changed a bit since the early 2000's myself. If you caught the message in the above post, you'd see in what direction I went. If only this were the land of the free.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Depression isn't something I fight with, but when something like it comes close, I just try to remember I am the source of my emotions and therefore they are always ultimately under my control.

Thanks for dropping by. Feel free to comment any time.
