Blog Changes Made
This was a late-night job with utterly no prior planning, so if anyone has comments or suggestions or even complaints, feel free to post them here. I do like the three primary colors and how they work together so don't expect to get very far with requests to change them.
At some point I'll try to reduce these sharp edges and soften the rectangular shapes. A few well-placed graphics will liven things up somewhat. Of course, I'll have to obtain or create those graphics, so it might take a while.
Comments
By the way, I do nearly all of my web browsing through FireFox or Opera. I know you IE users out there are numerous, but some things we'll just have to deal with due to platform inconsistencies.
I'm also aware of the "Use of uninitialized value in sprintf at lib/MT/Template/Context.pm line 1187" bits at the bottom of some pages. I'll get that fixed.

the white type on the pea-green backdrop strains the eyes.
Interesting note on that point: Microsoft spent a pornographic amount of money to determine that the sans serif font, in black on an off white background, increases the ability at which people are able to read and absorb information. I vote for not re-inventing the wheel and rolling with some variation on that.
this color reminds me of what a fridge would look like in 1976 ;)

New format looks great. Except, I would be helpufl if you put in the date for each comment received. Thanks

Miss Smith, I'm not clear on what you're talking about. When someone leaves a comment here, the date and time are posted; ditto for when the excerpt appears on the front page. I also put a date and time stamp on all of my updates to each post.
Ryan, I'll try enlarging the font size before bowing down before the Redmond Behemoth's bland ways. One of the reasons I picked this wacky color scheme is to separate it from all the black-text-on-whitish-background blogs out there.
I'll be unable to experiment with the site until Sunday, so keep those suggestions rolling in, especially if you've never posted here before.
