Railcar explosion heard and felt 50 miles away.

Drudge, Instapundit, and the Austin-American Statesman are carrying this as well. Further info here -- some injuries are reported as well as a fire. Here's hoping that this is just an accident.

Terrorists are best advised to Not Mess With Texas.

I will appreciate some more details on an explosion in a rail tank-car with cyclohexanone
oxyme during unloading. It is reported to have happened in BASF Facility in USA on September 13th
2002. We have similar operation and we would like to avoid recurrence of such accident. I was searching on webs, but I failed to find any information. Thanks in advance for your kind asistance. Edward

Hey there, Edward. It's just weird how that story vanished from the news so quickly. I posted my annoyance with this silence a few days after this post went up. I'll see what I can find make a new post with any new info I get. You can expect it to go up sometime before midnight tonight, Central US time.
